I would love to hear what you have to say about what is in The Carico Monthly newsletter. [I haven't found a way to put a comments section directly into the newsletter on Mailerlite so I hope this works for you.]
Nancy, thank you for the fall fable of grizzly bear! He found his way into winter with the anonymous help of his friends. May all of us be so fortunate. Tom
Smoky Moon (January 17, 2025 edition of your newsletter) is hauntingly beautiful. It captures contrasting human experiences of fire in a vivid, lovely, terrifying way. Very timely. Thanks for sharing your poetry in your newsletter.
I so enjoyed the poem about the four mustangs and your mare in the August 2025 issue of CARICO. It’s very evocative, describing so well the tension between we domesticated ones and the wild life we sometimes long for. Thank you for sharing.
