    Smoky Moon (January 17, 2025 edition of your newsletter) is hauntingly beautiful. It captures contrasting human experiences of fire in a vivid, lovely, terrifying way. Very timely. Thanks for sharing your poetry in your newsletter.

    I so enjoyed the poem about the four mustangs and your mare in the August 2025 issue of CARICO. It’s very evocative, describing so well the tension between we domesticated ones and the wild life we sometimes long for. Thank you for sharing.
