I would love to hear what you have to say about what is in The Carico Monthly newsletter. [I haven't found a way to put a comments section directly into the newsletter on Mailerlite so I hope this works for you.]

  1. Nancy, thank you for the fall fable of grizzly bear! He found his way into winter with the anonymous help of his friends. May all of us be so fortunate.

  2. Smoky Moon (January 17, 2025 edition of your newsletter) is hauntingly beautiful. It captures contrasting human experiences of fire in a vivid, lovely, terrifying way. Very timely. Thanks for sharing your poetry in your newsletter.

  6. I love how you pat the truck's dashboard like a horse's neck. Lovely touch.

  7. I so enjoyed the poem about the four mustangs and your mare in the August 2025 issue of CARICO. It’s very evocative, describing so well the tension between we domesticated ones and the wild life we sometimes long for. Thank you for sharing.

  10. I loved learning about the Trailblazer mark from your May 2026 newsletter. They are a great example of the messages and guidance our ancestors gifted us. It's a lovely reminder that help can be found all around us.

  11. Well now, I had an entry commented then put my name to it and the comment went away. No worry I'll start over.
The "Notalion" made me grin, and where can I see that pond monster? A whole new opportunity! What an interesting newsletter you've got here. The info is divided up in a way that's easy for me to follow and keeps my attention. Thanks Nancy :)
